Seeing as we're currently living in 2019, and digital cameras are plentiful and cheap, most people no longer need to hit the 1-Hour-Photo lab at their local drugstore once a week for 24 - 36 images at a time. But what to do with those negatives and prints that are taking up precious real-estate in the storage closet or the attic at mom's place? The truth is that most photo albums and boxes of negatives are forgotten, and it's only when someone needs an old picture and what they find is an print faded from exposure to time, or when the worst happens, and a natural disaster strikes, and families are forced to leave their homes quickly with their loved ones. The recent fires in California this past year and flooding on the east coast are extreme examples of how these memories can be lost, but it does happen. We never want to hear anyone say "I should have gotten those scanned" again. It's always incredibly heartbreaking. We want to work with collections of all shapes and sizes, to save as many memories for our clients as possible, and welcome discussions for costing out our services for digital preservation of your family history be it a single photo or ten-thousand.
